Kia has released yet another teaser of the upcoming Syros. The compact SUV will make its global debut on December 19.
The latest teaser showcases new design elements of the Syros. The SUV features vertically stacked LED headlamps and L-shaped LED taillights. It has a boxy design with flared wheel arches, thick B-pillars, roof rails, and retractable door handles.
Some reports also indicate that the Kia Syros could be offered in up to six variants. These include HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). The new SUV will be equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Other features might include ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, reclining rear seats, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an electronic parking brake, a wireless charger, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.
The Kia Syros is expected to come with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 172 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel with 113 BHP and 250 Nm, which will be paired with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
