Kia Sonet front end revealed in new teaser image

Kia has released a new teaser image of the Sonet. The latest image reveals the car's front end which looks similar to the concept that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The Sonet will get Kia's 'Tiger Nose' grille and headlamps with LED daytime running lights. The car has a black roof with silver roof rails and flared wheel arches.

Earlier this week, Kia had released a video showcasing the rear of the Sonet. It gets slim wraparound tail lights with a reflector strip in the centre.

The Sonet shares its platform with the Hyundai Venue. It could also get the same engine options as the Venue. These include a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options might include a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed iMT with an automated clutch.

The Kia Sonet will make its global debut on August 7, 2020.
