Kia Seltos garners 50,000 bookings since launch

According to Kia Motors, it has received more than 50,000 bookings for the Seltos in just two and a half months.

The Kia Seltos was launched on August 22, 2019. On the first day of bookings, the carmaker had received 6,046 orders. The total sales of the car for the months of August and September amounts to 13,990 units.

The Kia Seltos is available in 9 petrol and 7 diesel variants and two trim levels - Tech Line and GT Line. It is offered with three engine options including a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 113 BHP and 144 Nm of torque paired with either a 6-speed manual or IVT automatic transmission, a 1.4-litre, turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 138 BHP and 242 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit that makes 113 BHP and 250 Nm of torque, which is available with a choice of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
