Kia to discontinue HTK Plus variants of Sonet & Seltos

The revised variant line-up will be effective from May 1, 2021.

According to a leaked document, Kia is planning to discontinue the HTK Plus variants of the Sonet 1.0L Petrol DCT and 1.5L Diesel AT, as well as the Seltos 1.5L Diesel AT from mid-April.

The trim rationalization is based on feedback and booking trend. The updated variant line-up for both models will be revealed soon.

The revised variant line-up will be effective from May 1, 2021 and dealerships have been advised to stop taking bookings for the aforementioned variants from April 1, 2021.

Kia has planned a media event planned for April 27. The carmaker might reveal the new variant line-up along with the updated Seltos during this event.
