Isuzu is set to increase the prices of its D-Max pick-up truck range by Rs. 1 lakh from April 1, 2021. An increase in input cost is said to be the main reason behind the price hike.
Isuzu had launched the BS6-compliant D-Max and S-Cab pick-up trucks in October last year. This will be the second price hike since their launch.
The Isuzu D-Max and S-Cab are powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, BS6-compliant diesel engine equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger. The engine produces 78 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and 176 Nm @ 1,500-2,400 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Isuzu could introduce the V-Cross BS6 next month.
