Interior of Honda CR-V facelift revealed in spy shot

Last week we had reported that Honda has started testing the facelifted CR-V in North America (link to news article). From the camouflage the car was wearing, we could tell that the car's front and rear ends would receive changes.

However, Honda had not made any effort to clad the windows of the CR-V, which led us to believe that the interior would probably remain unchanged. Now, a fresh spy picture that has surface on the internet, confirms that the car's interior has indeed remained unchanged. The design and layout are the same as the current car. The spy picture also shows that the centre console features a regular audio system. A Bluetooth compatible head unit with a touchscreen display should be available on higher variants of the car.

It is also unlikely that Honda will make any mechanical changes to the CR-V. We expect the car to continue with the same 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre petrol units as the current model.

The facelifted CR-V is expected to be launched in the US in mid-2015, following which it will be introduced in Europe. The car is expected to come to India soon after.
