Installing OE front & rear parking sensors on my Skoda Slavia

Got an 8K optical parking sensor kit from Aliexpress.

When Skoda offered a cheap aftermarket front parking sensor, I was distraught seeing this and thought why not do an OE retrofit. After seeing a person install OE front parking sensors on his Kushaq on social media, I bit the bullet and got my hands dirty trying to install this on my Slavia. After many days of breaking my head and ripping apart the car, I was able to first prove that this works fine.

Got an 8K optical parking sensor kit from Aliexpress for the same. Following this, I will do a clean install and am pretty excited to finally have this working:

• OE retrofit with 8 parking sensors
• Display on the Infotainment screen
• Auto detect and start-up
• Virtual button on infotainment for manually turning it on
• Possibility of maneuver braking and rear cross-traffic alert

POC is complete, stay tuned for the actual installation  Will post a detailed guide for the same once this is done to benefit others who are interested
