Hyundai Venue launched at Rs. 6.50 lakh

The Hyundai Venue has been launched in India at prices starting from Rs. 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Hyundai Venue is the brand's first sub-4 metre SUV. It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width and 1,605 mm in height with the roof rack installed. The car has a wheelbase of 2,500 mm.

The Hyundai Venue features a chrome grille with slim pilot lamps and turn signals. The headlamp clusters are located below and feature rectangular LED daytime running lights and projectors. It has a dual-tone bumper with a silver skid plate. At the rear, the Venue gets LED tail lights and rides on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. 

The interior of the Venue is available in three colour themes - Black Single Tone, Khaki Dual Tone and Denim Dual Tone. It has an 8-inch touchscreen head-unit with Blue Link features, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a twin-dial instrument cluster. Other features include an electric sunroof, automatic headlamps with cornering lamps, rear view camera, cruise control, wireless charging and climate control with rear air-con vents, among others.

The Venue is available with three engine options - a 998cc turbocharged petrol engine, which makes 118 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque @ 2,500-4,000 rpm and comes paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm @ 4,000 rpm and paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.4-litre diesel unit that puts out 89 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 220 Nm of torque @ 1,500-2,750 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Hyundai Venue is available in 7 colour options - Denim Blue, Lava Orange, Deep Forest, Fiery Red, Star Dust, Polar White and Typhoon Silver. The car is also available in 3 dual tone options - Lava Orange + Black, Polar White + Black and Denim Blue + White.
