Hyundai has launched the updated Tucson priced from Rs. 22.30 lakh (ex-showroom). These are introductory prices.
The facelift version of the Tucson was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. The SUV gets full-LED headlamps, new front and rear bumpers and Hyundai's signature cascading grille that is slightly larger. At the rear, the SUV comes with updated tail lamps that now features LEDs and twin exhaust tips. The SUV rides on new design 18-inch alloy wheels.
Hyundai has also made some changes to the interior of the Tucson. It gets a redesigned dashboard with a floating 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as voice recognition. Similar to recent Hyundai offerings, the Tucson is also available with Blue Link connected car features. It allows the user to remotely Lock / unlock, start the engine/AC using smartphone /smart watch. Other features include panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, rain sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control, 10-way power adjustable driver seat and hands-free tail gate.
The Tucson is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 150 BHP and 192 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the 2.0-litre diesel makes 182 BHP and 400 Nm and is available with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The top-spec GLS diesel variant gets all-wheel drive.
Some of the safety features offered on the Tucson include 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors and rear view camera.
