The Hyundai Creta Electric is one of the most anticipated cars of 2025. The electric SUV will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo on January 17, but bookings are already open.
Hyundai has shared some fresh details of the Creta Electric, ahead of its launch. We already know that the EV will be available with two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, offering a range of 390 km and 473 km, respectively. The carmaker has now announced that the 42 kWh variant will have 133 BHP, while the long-range version will have 169 BHP and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The Hyundai Creta Electric will be available in four variants: Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. The interior of the car is similar to the ICE version, except for a few details, such as the 3-spoke steering wheel with steering-column-mounted drive mode selector and a different centre console.
The Creta Electric comes with dual 10.25-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, a Bose audio system, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a cooled glove box, and cooled storage under the front armrest, voice commands, and over 70 connected features.
The electric SUV features a shift-by-wire system and comes with a Digital Key, allowing users to lock, unlock and start the vehicle using their smartphone or smartwatch. It comes with Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, and Smart Cruise control with stop and go. Other safety features include 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, rain-sensing wipers, electronic parking brake with auto hold, Hill-Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, ESC, VSM, ISOFIX and TPMS.
