Hyundai Alcazar to get a 2.0L petrol engine

It is said to be the same engine that is offered in the Elantra as well as the Tucson.

The Hyundai Alcazar is expected to get a 2.0-litre petrol engine. It is said to be the same engine that is offered in the Elantra as well as the Tucson. Apart from this engine, the SUV could also be offered with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine.

In the Tucson and the Elantra, this 2.0-litre engine produces 150 BHP and 192 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Alcazar's exterior was leaked last week. The SUV is a 7-seat version of the Creta.
