Hyundai has started dispatching the Alcazar SUV to dealerships across India. It will be officially launched on June 18, 2021. Meanwhile, dealerships have started taking bookings for a token amount of Rs. 25,000.
The Alcazar is a 7-seat version of the Creta. It is also offered in a 6-seat configuration featuring separate captain seats in the second row. Second row passengers get a separate wireless charger and seatback tables.
The SUV also comes equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, and automatic climate control.
The Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 157 BHP / 192 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 113 BHP / 250 Nm. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with three drive modes - Comfort, Eco and Sport, as well as three traction modes - Snow, Sand, and Mud.
