Honda WR-V (Jazz Crossover) teased ahead of world premiere

Honda has released an official teaser of the WR-V, ahead of its world premiere at the Sao Paulo Auto Show on November 8, 2016. The WR-V is Honda's upcoming crossover offering which is based on the Jazz hatchback. The automaker had earlier released official sketches of the WR-V, giving a glimpse of its design philosophy.

The latest teaser image shows the WR-V covered under a veil, with its LED DRLs switched on. The Honda badge placed in the front grille is the only other design element visible. However, the previously released official sketch has already revealed some details about the new crossover. It is expected to get a larger front bumper, new swept-back headlamps, a chrome grille, and a large air dam. It is also expected to get black body cladding to justify the crossover tag.

Various reports have suggested that the WR-V will be launched in India sometime next year. The Indian-spec model will likely borrow the 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engines from the Jazz.
