Honda introduces two new trim levels of Mobilio

Honda Cars India has announced the launch of two new trim levels on the Mobilio MPV. Dubbed V(O) and RS(O), they will be available from mid-September 2014. With the introduction of the two new trim levels, the Mobilio range has been expanded to 10 variants.

The V(O) is available in on both the petrol and diesel versions of the Mobilio and is positioned above the E, S and V trims. The RS(O) is available only on the diesel version and slots above the RS variant. The new variants get Audio Video Navigation (AVN) and rear view parking camera. The AVN features a 15.7-cm touchscreen, loaded with maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation, and in-car entertainment with DVD/CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/AM connectivity. Additionally, the V(O) and RS(O) get faux wood panels on the dashboard and door armrests.

The Mobilio was launched in July 2014. It comes with a choice of two engines - one petrol and one diesel. The petrol unit is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-Vtec engine that develops 117 bhp @ 6600 rpm and 145 Nm of Torque @ 4600 rpm. The diesel motor is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-DTec unit that produces 98 bhp @ 3600 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm.
