Honda files patent for 2021 Grom in India

The Grom is a mini bike that is powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.

Honda has filed a design patent for the 2021 Grom in India, which has raised speculations that the company may be planning to launch the mini bike in India.

The Honda Grom is a mini bike with a wheelbase of 1,100 mm. It features an LED headlight, LED tail light and a digital instrument cluster. 

The Grom is powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.65 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

The bike features a 31 mm upside down fork suspension at the front and has a monoshock at the rear. It comes with a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 190 mm disc at the rear. The bike rides on 12-inch alloy wheels and has optional ABS.
