According to a media report, Honda is evaluating the possibility of launching the City RS powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine in India.
The Thai-spec City RS comes with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 120 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 173 Nm @ 2,000-4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The City RS also gets a few cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the standard model. This includes a sporty bodykit with a black grille and RS badging, 16-inch alloys, black ORVMs and a lip spoiler at the rear. The car comes with all-black interiors with red stitching and other sporty bits like aluminium pedals and red accents around the instrument cluster.
The report also states that Honda might also consider offering the RS as a cosmetic package with the existing set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines.
