Hero Xtreme 160R 4V launched at Rs 1.27 lakh

The Xtreme 160R now comes with a 4-valve engine and upside-down fork suspension at the front.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V at a starting price of Rs 1,27,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero has made some significant changes to the Xtreme 160R for the 2023 model year. The bike is powered by a 163cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which now features 4-valves. As a result, the engine now puts out 16.6 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 14.5 Nm, which is a slight bump over the old 2-valve engine.

The Xtreme 160R also gets an updated suspension. The bike rides on a 37 mm KYB upside-down fork up front and a 7-step adjustable Showa mono-shock at the rear.

The 2023 Xtreme 160R looks more aggressive than before, especially in the new dual-tone colour scheme. It gets new tank extensions, a new LED headlight and updated switchgear. The bike is available with either a single seat or a split seat and is equipped with a digital instrument console offering Bluetooth connectivity.

The Xtreme 160R 4V is available in three variants: Standard, Connected and Pro. The base variant comes with a conventional telescopic fork and a single seat.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V ex-showroom prices:

  • Standard – Rs 1,27,300
  • Connected – Rs 1,32,800
  • Pro – Rs 1,36,500

The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V model will be sold alongside the new 4V model. It is priced at Rs 1,18,886 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
