Harley plans 2nd H.O.G. Rally, to unveil Street 750 at IBW

Harley-Davidson India has announced that it will be hosting the 2nd H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) Rally, which will be take place in Goa on January 16, 2014. It will involve Harley-Davidson owners and their families from all over the country, riding into the state of Goa. The rally serves as an opportunity for them to come together and share their experiences. The first edition of the H.O.G Rally saw a turnout of more than 600 riders. The company is hoping to take this number up to 1,000 in 2014.

Additionally, Harley-Davidson will be the principal sponsor of the India Bike Week (IBW), which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2014. IBW is open to all motorcyclists, clubs and enthusiasts, who will get a chance to participate in many of the activities that have been planned.  Harley-Davidson claims, there are 26 live band-DJ performances lined up on three concert stages.

IBW will also see Harley-Davidson unveil its Street 750 motorcycle, which will be assembled at the company’s facility at Bawal, Haryana. The Street 750 is powered by a 749 cc, liquid-cooled, V-Twin engine with a 6-speed gearbox and is expected to be priced below Rs. 5 lakh.
