GM launches Technical Helpdesk for its dealers

General Motors has launched a new Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) at Talegaon, near Pune. This new centre will be the point of contact for all Chevrolet dealers across the country for efficiently and rapidly resolving all customer product concerns. The Talegaon centre is General Motors' first dedicated TAC facility in India.

The US-based automaker has also established a single point of contact at every dealership. Called the Tech-E (Technical Expert), this contact person will be responsible for resolving every customer concern or complaint at the dealership level. Tech-E can also take the help of the dedicated TAC facility in Pune to ensure customer satisfaction.

The TAC in Pune will thus act as a remote centre that will provide on-demand assistance to dedicated Tech-Es employed at every dealer. Currently, General Motors has employed a team of 10 individuals for the TAC in Pune.
