Ford Figo facelift unveiled. Launch on March 15, 2019

Ford has released the first images of the upcoming Figo facelift, which will be launched on March 15, 2019.

The Figo facelift will receive similar updates as the new Aspire. It gets a chrome grille flanked by revised headlamp clusters and a new front bumper with C-shaped chrome inserts. The Figo Blu gets a sporty treatment with blue trim around the fog lamps, black grille and ORVMs, black roof and alloy wheels as well as decals on the side and rear. The Blu trim also gets a rear spoiler.

The new Figo is expected to get the same updated interior as the Aspire. It could be offered with a touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC3 and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, while safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder and high-speed warning are likely to be offered as standard across all variants. The top variant is likely to get 6 airbags and adjustable headrests for the rear seat.

The new Figo is likely to be available with a choice of three engines. These could include a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon Series petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engines paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
