Ford Fiesta facelift launched at Rs. 7.69 lakh

Ford India has launched the Fiesta facelift at prices starting from 7.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The facelift sees the Fiesta get a new trapezoidal front grille, front bumper, headlamps, rear bumper, boot lid and tail lamps. The design of the alloy wheels has been changed as well.

The interior of the car has a black and grey theme. The dashboard and instrument cluster lighting is now blue instead of red.

The Fiesta will come in three variants - Ambiente (base), Trend (mid) and Titanium (top end). Standard equipment across all variants includes 'guide me home' headlamps, height adjustable driver's seat, split-folding rear seat, remote locking and electrically adjustable mirrors.

Common between the Trend and Titanium variants are features such as fog lamps, audio system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, body coloured mirrors and door handles, wheel covers, cruise control and footwell lamps. However, while the Trend gets a six-speaker audio system with CD, USB and Aux-in connectivity and full wheel covers, the Titanium gets alloy wheels, and 'SYNC' with Ford AppLink and 'Emergency Assist'. It also gets automatic headlamps and wipers, puddle lamps, electrically folding mirrors, keyless entry and go, rear parking sensors, ambient cabin lighting and an advanced MID.

Coming to safety features, EPAS and ABS with EBD are standard on all variants. However, while the Trend and Titanium variants get airbags for the driver and front passenger, the Ambiente gets only one for the driver.

The Fiesta is powered by the familiar 1.5-litre, Duratorq TDCi diesel engine that produces 90 bhp and 204 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is no petrol powerplant on offer.

Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi):

  • Ambiente: Rs. 7,69,000
  • Trend: Rs. 8,55,720
  • Titanium: Rs. 9,29,449
