Ford Endeavour Sport teased ahead of launch

Earlier this month, we reported that the Endeavour Sport had started reaching dealerships. Now, Ford has released a teaser image of the same on its official social media handles.

The caption of the teaser image confirms that the Sport version will get blacked-out exterior and interior details. A "coming soon" hashtag has also been used implying an imminent launch.

Spy images have revealed that the new variant comes with a back grille with a black insert on the front bumper. It gets a Sport badge on the tail gate, a black strip between the tail lights and black trim on the rear bumper. The SUV also gets side steps, black ORVMs and black alloy wheels. It could also get minor interior changes.

The Ford Endeavour is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine rated at 168 BHP and 420 Nm. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The Endeavour Sport is likely to rival the Toyota Fortuner TRD.
