Ford has increased the prices of the EcoSport by Rs. 5,000-10,000 depending on the variant. The base price of the EcoSport is now Rs. 7,82,200 (ex-showroom). Besides the price hike, Ford has also introduced new features on all variants of the EcoSport.
Features like rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock and passenger seat belt reminder are now available on all variants. In addition to rear parking sensors, the Trend variant also gets a rear view camera. Ford has updated the touchscreen infotainment system to a 9.0-inch unit with SYNC and navigation. The updated ICE is now available on all variants except the base Ambiente trim.
Also, features like ambient lighting and My Key are no longer offered on the Titanium variant. Instead, these features are now only available on the top-spec Titanium+ trim.
Meanwhile, there has been no change to the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engines. The Dragon Series petrol engine produces 121 BHP @ 6,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque @ 4,500 rpm and is offered with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. The diesel unit makes 99 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 205 Nm of torque @ 1,750-3,250 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
