Ford EcoSport BS6 costs just Rs. 13,000 more

Ford has launched the EcoSport with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. Prices start at Rs. 8.04 lakh for petrol and Rs. 8.54 lakh for the diesel models.

The EcoSport range comes equipped with features such as automatic headlamps with daytime running lights, electrochromic mirror, sunroof, rain sensing wipers and an engine start/stop button. Most variants get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, while the S variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The BS6 compliant 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 120 BHP and 149 Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The updated 1.5-litre diesel engine makes 99 BHP and 215 Nm and is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
