Fiat launches Linea and Punto Absolute Edition

Fiat has announced the launch of an Absolute edition of the Linea sedan and Punto hatchback.

While there are no changes to the cars' engines and transmissions, the Absolute editions of the Linea and Punto come equipped with a festive accessory pack worth Rs. 25,000, which is offered to customers at no additional cost. This accessory pack is not available on other variants of the cars. Customers can avail maximum benefits on the Linea and Punto of up to Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 60,000 respectively. Existing customers can avail this offer by paying Rs. 25,000.

• Touch screen GPS navigation with 3G tablet and smartphone functionality (1.0-GHz processor; Android 2.3)
• Reverse parking sensors
• “Absolute” exterior branding
• Contoured splash guards
• Linea and Punto branded door sill
• Beige carpets – Linea
• Boot chrome strip – Linea
• Premium floor mats – Punto

Apart from accessories, Fiat is offering free road side assistance and an exchange bonus on both models.

The economic slowdown has hit car sales hard. With the launch of the Absolute edition, Fiat is making every effort to draw customers to their showrooms.

It may be recalled that Fiat had previously launched the Absolute edition in September 2012.
