Eicher launches a 14.5 ton truck - The Eicher 11.14

Eicher has launched the 11.14 model, a 14.5T (GVW) truck. Similar-sized trucks in India cater either to the 12-13 tonne category or the 16 tonne category. This Eicher truck attempts to bridge the gap. Eicher hopes to create a new segment, and attract customers of the 16 ton market, by providing them the benefits of a Heavy duty truck, with the savings of a medium duty truck. The Eicher 11.14 is meant for applications such as market load, milk / water tanker, parcel service, machinery transport, pharma, gas cylinders and courier segments.

The Eicher 11.14 is powered by a 114 BHP 4 cylinder diesel engine that is mated to the ET40S5 gearbox. It has 9.00 x 20 -16 PR tyres and is equipped with power steering. The after-sales network includes 200+ authorized service centres and 10,000+ private mechanics trained by Eicher.
