Ford has been testing the 2017 facelift of the EcoSport in India, which is expected to be launched around the festive season this year. However, the automaker also appears to be working on some updates of the current model that will likely be launched prior to the facelift's introduction. A new set of spy shots showcase a dual tone variant of the current model being tested in India.
The spotted model adorns a white shade around the roof and A, B and C pillars, while the rest of the body is finished in the Mars Red colour. Moreover, the bonnet gets black racing stripes that run in the center. The ORVMs are body coloured and the 16-inch alloys are similar to the ones on the regular EcoSport.
It is not yet known whether the changes seen on this dual tone EcoSport will be part of Ford genuine accessories or a new special edition model. Ford appears to be introducing such updates in order to clear the existing stock and inventory of the EcoSport, ahead of the facelift's launch.
