Clocked 16000 km on my Jimny: It keeps munching the miles and I love it

My wife is driving more compared to the Nano and this even allowed us to size down to 1 car.

16000kms update:

I never thought I would be doing so many kms in a year. 15000 is very high for me and the Jimny has been a good add. It just keeps crunching miles. While I didn't do much exciting off-roading in the last few months, the car has become a workhorse for our home.

My wife is driving more compared to the Nano and this even allowed us to size down to 1 car.

The next scheduled service is at 20000kms.

Short summary:

• Fuel efficiency is around 8 in city and close to 11 in highways at good speeds.
• EVC or other throttle controllers are must and I have set it up to adapt mode and never bothered to change it.
• Android device is a good add.
• AC is one of the strong point and in Chennai summer I want to add the windshield sun film alone.

It is very underwhelming to write about a car that just does mile crunching and typical Maruti experience.

I have very little to write is a good testament of a reliable family car if 4 seater is all you want.
