Images of what is believed to be the facelifted version of the China-spec Skoda Rapid sedan have surfaced online.
The spy images suggest that the Rapid is likely to get a redesigned grille with a chrome frame. The car gets twin-pod headlamps with a more angular look and a dual-tone bumper with a wide air dam and trapezoidal fog lamps.
At the rear, the Rapid gets new wraparound tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors. Instead of the Skoda logo, the China-spec car has Skoda lettering on the boot lid. The car has blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators and is riding on silver 5-spoke alloy wheels.
India is unlikely to get this version of the Rapid. The next-generation Rapid is expected to be based on the MQB A0-IN platform and is likely to be offered with BS-VI compliant engines.
