Chevrolet has launched the Trailblazer in India at a price of Rs. 26.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Trailblazer is Chevrolet's rival for the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Ford Endeavour and other D2 segment SUVs. It measures 4,878 mm in length, 1,902 mm in width and 1,838 mm in height. It has a wheelbase measuring 2,845 mm, a ground clearance of 241 mm and a kerb weight of 2,068 kg. The vehicle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels shod with 265/60 R18 section tyres.
The interiors of the Trailblazer feature a dual tone colour scheme and 7 front-facing seats with seatbelts. Chevrolet has equipped the Trailblazer with features such as a multifunction steering wheel, My Link infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity, climate control and cruise control.
Safety features include dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, panic brake assist, cornering brake stability, electronic stability control, hill descent control, hill start assist, traction control and reverse parking sensors and camera.
The Trailblazer is powered by a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder, Duramax turbocharged diesel engine that produces 197 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm @ 2,000 rpm of torque. The vehicle comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive only.
