Chevrolet has been testing the Trailblazer SUV on Indian roads over the past few months. A test mule of the vehicle has been spotted once again and this time, the spy images give us a glimpse of its interiors.
The Trailblazer gets a dual-tone (black and beige) dashboard. The steering wheel and centre console are black, while the seats are beige. It has an automatic gearbox and Chevrolet's MyLink touchscreen infotainment system.
The Trailblazer made its debut in India at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is powered by a 2.8-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 200 BHP @ 3600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque @ 2,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In some countries the SUV is available with a 2.5-litre, 150 BHP diesel engine and a manual 6-speed gearbox. The Trailblazer also gets a limited slip differential, four-wheel drive, disc brakes allround and 18-inch alloy.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, ESP, hill start assist, panic brake assist, cornering brake control, traction control, hill descent control and dual airbags among others.
Chevrolet will launch the Trailblazer in India in the coming months. It will be pitted against the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Ford Endeavour.
