Chevrolet Sail facelift spied in China

The Chevrolet Sail sedan has not been a strong seller in India. It's rather bland styling is one of the reasons why customers prefer other models over it. However, the company seems to be trying to make the car appear more interesting by giving it a facelift.

Pictures from China show that the Sail facelift gets changes at both, front and rear ends. At the front, there is a pair of redesigned headlights, a new grille and bumper with a wider air dam is wider and new fog lamp housings. At the rear, we find a new pair of tail lights and bumper. The number plate housing is now located on the boot lid instead of the bumper.

Other changes include a redesigned set of alloy wheels and larger wing mirrors. The quarter glasses on the front windows seem to have been replaced by black plastic claddings.

The Sail's interiors are also expected to be refreshed. Pictures suggest that the car gets a new instrument cluster with chrome enclosures for the tachometer and speedometer. The steering wheel is also more modern with silver accents. The centre console has been redesigned as well with a new audio system and chrome accents on the air vents.

It is not clear whether Chevrolet will make any mechanical changes to the Sail.
