Bullet Electra owner shares 7 key observations about the new Bullet 350

The traditional coke-bottle seat design along with a higher set handlebar, as compared to the Royal Enfield Classic 350, is very comfortable.

BHPian Phantom 510 recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

I had an opportunity to test ride the lovely Bullet 350 (J series). Would like to share my observations (an owner of a BULLET Electra/ES350 BS4 MY2018) during the test ride of almost 10 km.

Key observations

  1. Lovely Bullet styling.
  2. Loads of road presence.
  3. Gets admiring glances from people.
  4. The 350cc is a gem - it's refined, torquey and is also extremely tractable. It can pull from as low as 20 kmph in 3rd gear and 40 kmph in 5th. Ratios are well spaced out and would go on to hit 100 kmph in the 3rd gear itself. Gearbox has positive shift action and the clutch is well-weighted.
  5. Extremely surefooted dynamics. Rock solid straight-line stability with good cornering prowess (for a Bullet). It packs in good braking power as well (for a Bullet).
  6. Dismisses bad patches with authority.
  7. The traditional coke-bottle seat design along with a higher set handlebar (as compared to the Classic 350) is very comfortable too. This rider's triangle puts one into a zen mode with the long-stroke motor throbbing away gently.
