BS6 Honda Jazz revealed. Bookings open

Honda has revealed the updated Jazz which now comes with a BS6-compliant petrol engine. The car will be launched later this month and pre-bookings are now open. Customers can place their orders at the dealerships by paying a sum of Rs. 21,000 while online bookings can be made with an amount of Rs. 5,000.

The Jazz is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that has been updated to comply with BS6 emission norms. The engine will be offered with either a manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT). According to Honda, CVT variants accounted for 70% of the total Jazz sales in India last year.

Besides the engine, Jazz also gets minor changes to the exterior. The car comes with a new gloss black grille with chrome trims, LED headlights, LED tail lights and LED fog lamps. The front and rear bumpers have also been redesigned.

The updated Jazz is equipped with features such as one-touch electric sunroof, cruise control, Smart Entry and engine start / stop button in both Manual and CVT variants. The latter also gets paddle shifters.
