Earlier this year, Austrian bike maker Brixton Motorcycles announced its entry into the Indian market. The company has now revealed its product plan as it gears up for its foray.
Brixton Motorcycles plans to introduce four models in India. These include the Crossfire 500 X, Crossfire 500 XC, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200 X. The bikes are expected to go on sale this festive season.
The Brixton Crossfire is a scrambler-style motorcycle. While the 500 X is more road-biased, the 500 XC is built to go off-road. Both models are powered by a 486cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 47 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm @ 6,750 rpm.
The Cromwell 1200 is a retro-styled roadster similar to the Triumph Bonneville. The 1200X is the off-road version kitted out with knobbly tyres. Both bikes are powered by a 1,222cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 82 BHP @ 6,650 rpm and 108 Nm @ 3,100 rpm.
