A facelifted version of the Chevrolet Trailblazer was showcased at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show, earlier this year. Now, the production ready version of the SUV has been unveiled in Brazil. The car is expected go on sale in the country by the end of this month.
The refreshed Trailblazer gets a wider front grille is wider and bigger fog-lamps than the current model. The car also gets redesigned headlamps with DRLs. There are no changes to the sides or the rear.
In Brazil, the Trailblazer will have an infotainment system with OnStar, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features include collision warning, lane change assist, front parking sensors, blind-spot warning, tyre pressure monitoring, reverse camera with cross traffic alert, traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control and ABS with EBD.
The car measures 4.88 metres in length and 1.9 metres in width with a wheelbase of 2.85 metres. The boot capacity is of 205 litres, which can be expanded to 1,830 litres.
The Trailblazer will be available in two engine options - a 3.6-litre. V6 petrol engine producing 275 BHP and 357 Nm of torque, which is made for the middle eastern market and a 2.8-litre, Duramax diesel engine producing 197 BHP and 500 Nm of torque, which may be expected in India. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
