Bought the GMA touring seat for my Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in Japan

There is nothing wrong with the factory seat, it is just that I could feel my tailbone aching a bit after riding for around 50 km on the highway.

Touring Seat

I finally pulled the gun and ordered a GMA Touring Seat. I know that it gets a lot of hate due to its shape and the departure from the classic Bullet styling. But as my lower back is really beaten up with 25 years of riding and driving, I needed a bit more support than the original seat.

There is nothing wrong with the factory seat either, just that I could feel my tailbone aching a bit after riding for around 50 km on the highway, and basically me trying to move around the seat a bit trying to find more support. I am hoping that the slightly stiffer foam will help me out here, as I do want to keep the Bullet for many years to come.

I shall report back on the actual comfort of the seat after spending some time on the highway.

The new seat

It is wider and longer than the original

It is slightly stiffer and taller than the original, especially for the pillion

Love the little writings, especially the 'Bullet' at the back
