BMW has launched the 6 Series facelift in India. The car is available in three variants - 630i M Sport, 620d Luxury Line and 630d M Sport, and prices start at Rs. 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated 6 Series gets a redesigned front fascia featuring new LED headlights with a re-profiled twin-kidney grille in the centre. It also gets a reworked front bumper, while the tail lamp clusters get new internals.
The 6 Series is a four-door coupe with a sloping roofline. It comes with pillarless doors and has twin exhausts. BMW Laserlight is available as an option.
On the interior, the updated 6 Series gets newly designed controls on the centre console. The 630i and 620d come with Natural Leather Dakota trim with fine wood trims. The 640d gets Nappa leather upholstery with diamond stitching.
The car comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Gesture Control (630d only) as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
The updated 6 Series is available with three engine options. These include a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 255 BHP @ 5,000 rpm / 400 Nm @ 1,550-4,400 rpm; a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 188 BHP @ 4,000 rpm / 400 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm; and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, diesel with 261 BHP @ 4,000 rpm / 620 Nm @ 2,000-2,500 rpm.
All engines come paired with an 8-Speed automatic transmission. Adaptive 2-axle air suspension comes as standard. It has five modes - Comfort, Comfort+, Sport, Sport+ and Adaptive.
