Benelli TNT 300 gets ABS as standard. Priced at Rs. 3.29 lakh

The 2017 Benelli TNT 300 now comes equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard. The updated model has been launched at a price of Rs. 3.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Apart from adding an ABS unit, DSK-Benelli hasn't made any major mechanical changes to the TNT 300. The bike is based around a trellis frame and measures 2,130 mm in length, 800 mm in width, 1,120 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,410 mm. The kerb weight is 196 kg which is slightly more than the outgoing non-ABS version and it has fuel tank capacity of 16 litres.

DSK-Benelli recently launched the 302R which gets ABS as standard fitment. Like the 302R and the larger capacity TNT 600i, the TNT 300 also gets an ABS cancel switch.

The TNT 300 comes with inverted front telescopic forks and an adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. Brakes come in the form of petal-type dual discs in the front and a single disc at the rear that are hooked up to an ABS unit. The naked bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 120/70 or 110/70 section front tyres and 160/60 or 150/60 section tyres at the rear.

The Benelli TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc, in-line 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 38 BHP @ 11,500 rpm and produces a peak torque of 26.5 Nm @ 10,000 rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The TNT 300 ABS is available with four colour options - Verde, Bianco, Rosso and Nero.
