Benelli TNT 25 launched in India at Rs. 1.68 lakh

The Benelli 25 motorcycle has been launched in India at prices starting from Rs. 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The TNT 25 has streetfighter styling. It has a trellis frame with an inverted fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It measures 2,080 mm in length, 810 mm in width and 1,125 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,400 mm, a ground clearance of 160 mm and a kerb weight of 159 kg. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres and is available in two colours - white and red.

The TNT 25 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine that develops 28.16 BHP @ 9,800 rpm and 21.61 Nm of torque @ 8,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel though a 6-speed gearbox. Stopping power is provided by single 280 mm and 240 mm single disc brakes at the front and rear respectively.

The TNT 25 is available in two variants - Standard, priced at Rs. 1.68 lakh and Premium, priced at Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both variants get alloy wheels and 110/70-17 section tyres at the front and 150/60-17 section tyres at the rear. However, the Standard variant gets MRF Tyres and the Premium gets Metzeler rubber.

Other features include split seating, an LED tail lamp and an underbelly exhaust.
