Benelli-based Harley-Davidson X 500 goes on sale in China

Last month, Harley-Davidson revealed the X 350 with a 353cc, twin-cylinder engine.

Harley-Davidson and China-based QJMotor have launched yet another bike in the Chinese market. The new model is called the X 500 and it joins the X 350, which made its debut last month.

The Harley-Davidson X 500 is based on the Benelli Leoncino 500. It features a round LED headlamp with a single-pod instrument console, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a short tail section with a single-piece stepped seat.

The X 500 is powered by the same 500cc, parallel-twin engine as the Leoncino 500. It makes 47 BHP and 46 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The X 500 comes equipped with an adjustable upside-down fork up front with an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS.
