Bangalore: Ola launches cab service for hospital visits

Ola has launched a new cab service called Ola Emergency for those who wish to travel to and from hospitals during the nationwide lockdown.

At present, the service is only available in Bangalore. Customers can book a cab to visit any of the 200 hospitals in the city. The service can be availed for medical purposes like dialysis, chemotherapy, scheduled check-ups and physical injuries, etc. Customers will be charged a nominal fee to compensate the drivers.

The cars come equipped with masks, sanitisers and specially trained drivers. The cars too are sanitized to avoid any infections.

Ola plans to expand this service to other major cities in India.
