Bangalore to Murudeshwar in KSRTC's non-AC Pallaki bus class

I had a very good experience, extremely happy with KSRTC!

BHPian shandilyapiyush recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

I recently travelled to Murudeshwar and back from Bangalore in KSRTC's new non ac sleeper offering the "Pallakki". The bus I was traveling in was from the Bhatkal depot, hence the NWKRTC badging. These Pallakki busses are built by Prakash on the Ashok Leyland chassis.

The bus was extremely clean and berth upholstery was plush. The bedding was extremely comfortable with adequate cushioning/support and a neatly done backrest, there's also a slight bump near the headrest which acts as a pillow. I was glad to see the charging socket and reading light both working.

Well done backrest. Reading light, charging socket and phone holder

Departure from Bangalore was after a 15 minute delay, the bus reached Murudeshwar on time at around 7am. A quick dinner stop was given by the crew near Dabaspete (Hotel Anand Kushi). Rode the jump seat for a bit, the driving was excellent. Mine was the upper berth hence the usual body roll during overtakes and curvy roads were definitely felt but nothing too uncomfortable. These busses are speed locked to 80kmph.

Murudeshwar to Bangalore - the same bus from the Bhatkal depot arrived early to Murudeshwar bus stand and I was the only passenger boarding. Had a quick meal at the NWKRTC Bus Stand Bhatkal. The bus reached Bangalore at around 6:45am (schedule arrival was 6:30am).

KSRTC crew were extremely friendly and welcoming, the bus driving was excellent, the bus was well maintained.
A definite postive reinforcement to the already excellent reputation KSRTC have built for themselves over the years.

I could sleep well during both stints of the journey. No complaints of body ache or extra tiredness owing to the bus travel.

I must say I'm a huge fan of the latest liveries of KSRTC on their busses. Attaching a few photos of the Ambaari Dream Class, Ambaari Utsav and KKRTC's Kalyana Ratha.

The mighty and absolutely gorgeous Ambaari Utsav
