Bangalore to Munnar in a Thar P AT for a macro photography shoot

I got decent mileage for the thirsty petrol AT with relaxed cruising.

BHPian robimahanta recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

I went to the outskirts of Munnar over the weekend for macro photography, mainly to see and photograph the Resplendent Frog, which is critically endangered and only found in a specific high-altitude area around Munnar.

On the way there, I took the Bangalore-Perundurai-Avinashi-Palladam-Udumalaipet-Munnar route. It was mostly fine except for about 20 kilometers after entering Kerala, where the road was narrow and had potholes in the China forest. On the way back, I chose the scenic Munnar-Devikulam-Theni-Dindigul-Dharmapuri-Rayakotai-Atibele-Bangalore route. It was very scenic with great roads, although a bit longer.

Without further ado, let me share some pictures.
