Bajaj Auto has added two new motorcycles to its Discovery range - 150F and 150S.
The Discover 150F features a half-fairing like a Honda Stunner or Hero Ignitor. The 150S, on the other hand, is a naked bike. Both the bikes use a semi-double cradle frame with a telescopic fork front suspension and a monoshock nitrox rear suspension. The bikes ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 80/100-17 and 100/90-17 section tubeless tyres at the front and rear respectively.
Both the motorcycles feature a 144.8 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, carburetted engine that develops 14.3 bhp @ 8500 rpm and 12.75 Nm or torque @ 6500 rpm. An electric starter has been provided. Power transmitted to the rear wheel through a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj claims a top speed of 110 kph and a fuel efficiency figure of 72 kpl for the Discover 150 twins.
While the Discover 150F is available with a disc brake as standard, the 150S can be bought with a disc or drum brake depending upon the customer's choice. The bikes are available in a choice of four colours - dark blue, wine red, ebony black and dark bottle green.
