Audi updates the RS 7 Sportback. Priced at Rs. 1.40 crores

Audi launched the RS 7 Sportback in India in January 2014. The premium luxury car maker has launched an updated RS 7 Sportback in India, priced at Rs. 1.40 crores (ex-showroom Delhi and Mumbai). The car is now nearly Rs. 12 lakhs dearer than what it was last year.

The RS 7 now features Audi Matrix LED headlamps as well as dynamic indicators in the front and rear. Subtle changes have been made to the front grill too.

This car continues to be powered by the same 4.0 litre TFSI, Bi-turbo petrol motor churning out 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque; enough to propel this car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h. It still will be equipped with Audi's all-wheel drive Quattro system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Updates to the interiors include revisions to the instrument cluster, air-vents and paddle shifters. The MMI navigation plus with MMI touch now uses the latest generation graphic processor from Nvidia.

Audi India's current range of cars includes the A3, A4, A6, A7 Sportback and A8 sedans; Q3, Q5 and Q7 SUVs; and performance-oriented cars like the S4, S6, RS 5 Coupé, RS 7 Sportback, TT Coupé and R8.
