Hero HF Deluxe and HF Deluxe ECO launched

Hero MotoCorp has launched two new commuter motorcycles in India. These bikes sit just above the HF Dawn and below the Splendor in the company's line-up.

Both bikes are powered by the same 97.2cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, carburetted, air-cooled engine that has been seen on many of the company's products over the years. This engine develops 8.25 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm. Both bikes also have a 4-speed gearbox.

The HF Deluxe measures 1,965 mm in length, 720 mm in width and 1,045 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,235 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm. It has a 9.5-litre fuel, a telescopic fork suspension at the front and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. Stopping power is provided by 130 mm and 110 mm drum brakes at the front and rear respectively.

The HF Deluxe is available in five colours - Candy Blazing Red, Black with Red, Black with Purple, Boon Silver Metallic and Black with Blue.

The HF Deluxe ECO has the same dimensions as the HF Deluxe, but comes with a larger fuel tank (10.5 litres). The bike has a telescopic fork suspension at the front and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. Like the HF Deluxe, it comes with 130 mm and 110 mm drum brakes at the front and rear respectively, but has non-asbestos type shoes. It also gets more aerodynamic rear view mirrors and air foils on the leg guards.

The HF Deluxe ECO is available in one colour only - Leaf Green.

Both bikes are available with a self start, maintenance-free battery and alloy wheels.
