Audi Q8 e-tron EV India launch in August 2023

The Audi Q8 e-tron is available in SUV and Sportback body styles and comes in three variants - Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron and SQ8 e-tron.

According to a media report, Audi is planning to expand its electric vehicle portfolio with the introduction of the Q8 e-tron. The EV will be launched in India next month and will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).

The Q8 e-tron will be available in two body styles - SUV and Sportback, and three variants - Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron and SQ8 e-tron. The Q8 50 e-tron quattro comes with dual electric motors producing 335 BHP and 664 Nm. It is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack offering a maximum range of 491 - 505 km (WLTP cycle), depending on the body style. The Q8 55 e-tron packs 402 BHP and 664 Nm and is powered by a 104 kWh battery that offers a maximum range of 582-600 km on a single charge.

Audi also offers a high-performance version called the SQ8 e-tron. It uses three electric motors with a combined output of 496 BHP and 973 Nm. This model is also powered by a 104 kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of 494 - 513 km.

Audi India's current lineup of electric vehicles includes the e-tron 50, the e-tron 55, the e-tron Sportback 55, the e-tron GT, and the RS e-tron GT.
