Audi Q7 and A6 Design Editions launched in India

Audi has launched limited editions of the Q7 SUV and A6 sedan in India. The Audi Q7 Design Edition is priced at Rs. 81.99 lakh, while the A6 Design Edition costs Rs. 56.78 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Design Edition is limited to 100 units each of the Q7 and A6.

The Audi Q7 Design Edition gets updates like 20-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels, gloss black exhaust trim, running boards and smoked tail lamps. Additional features include Audi Smartphone Interface and door puddle projection lamps with Audi and Quattro logos in the front and rear respectively. Apart from this, the Q7's standard equipment list consists of Matrix LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, four-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, cruise control, adaptive air suspension, MMI infotainment with Bose audio system and 8 airbags among others.

The Q7 Design Edition is based on the 45 TDI variant. It is powered by a 3.0-litre diesel that puts out 245 BHP @ 2,910 - 4,500 rpm and 600 Nm @ 1,500 - 3,000 rpm and is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. It comes with Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard.

Like the Q7, the A6 Design Edition also comes with Audi Smartphone Interface and door puddle projection lamps. Additionally, it gets rear seat entertainment and comes fitted with 19-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels. Other features include a 20.32 cm MMI touchscreen infotainment with Navigation and voice commands, 4-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, adaptive air suspension, Bose audio system with 14 speakers and a total of 8 airbags. It also gets Matrix LED headlights and LED tail lights and the S Line Package.

The A6 Design Edition is offered with a 2.0-litre TDI unit that makes 188 BHP @ 3,800 - 4,200 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,750 - 3,000 rpm, paired with 7-speed S-Tronic transmission.
