Audi Q5 facelift spotted testing in India

The new Q5 is expected to be offered with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine.

The Audi Q5 facelift was unveiled back in June 2020. The updated SUV has now been spotted testing in India.

The black test mule, which was spotted in Pune appears to have emissions testing apparatus mounted on the rear.

The updated Q5 gets a new octagonal single-frame grille, a redesigned bumper and twin exhaust tips. The LED headlights also get new internals, while the tail lights get organic LEDs.

On the inside, the new Q5 gets a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with the updated MIB 3 system. It comes with connected car features including Amazon's Alexa. The car gets a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel which also has controls for the infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

The new Q5 is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
